This week it’s Pathos, which gets 30%. Pathos is the ability to make the emotional connection with your audience. This means knowing why they are there, what they want and delivering in language that moves them: are you trying to inspire, motivate, entertain or persuade?
It might be combination of all of those and such traits are not to be found on a slide. Saying the right thing at the right time in the right way is a key skill for leaders and here’s one that Donald Trump pitched perfectly, much to everyone’s surprise.
